Billiards Room

The SunRiver Billiards Club has about 60 members consisting of players of all skill levels. The Club arranges 8 Ball and 9 Ball tournaments year round on the two professional grade Diamond tables. You don't need to be a Club member to enjoy the tables for a leisurely game with friends and family.

Bocce Courts

The game is similar to Lawn Bowl but played on courts. You can have two-, three-and four-person teams.  The object of the game is for a team to get their balls closer than the other team to a small target ball called a pallino.  Our four courts ensure that all can play.

Computer Lab

The Computer Lab has both MAC and PC computers available and the Club offers a wide variety of opportunities to learn, ask questions and share ideas with fellow members.  You can learn about the latest digital photographic equipment and techniques, as well as photo editing software for processing and enhancing photos. The Club also has a photo scanner for saving and enhancing hard copies into digital format.

Craft Room

The Craft Room is where crafty residents meet to work on their projects. The Arts & Crafts Club hosts Greeting Cards on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 pm; Beading which meets on Wednesdays from 2 to 4 pm; and Painting which meets on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 am.

Lapidary Studio

Learn how to make things from rocks. The word Lapidary means working with rocks, so this Club teaches the skills to make things from rocks.  In this Club, you can learn wire-wrapping, soldering, and many techniques dealing with silver smithing and jewelry making.  The Club does some rock-hounding trips throughout the year and many of the gemstones found can be made into beautiful jewelry.  Come check out these attractive items. Studio hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9 am to noon. The Studio is located between the Woodworking Studio and the Pottery Studio.

Labyrinth

The labyrinth is a wonderful place to meditate. Unlike mazes, which have many paths and dead ends, labyrinths have a single, meandering path that winds to the center and back.  The labyrinth can represent our journey on the Path of Life, with all its twists and turns.  It is an ancient, universal, and cross-cultural symbol known to exist since about 3500 B.C. Take a little time for yourself to quiet your mind, get centered, and walk the Labyrinth.

Lawn Bowls Green

SunRiver St. George boasts the only active Lawn Bowls Green in Utah. The Lawn Bowls Club bowls three times a week for regular play and the Club also holds tournaments throughout the year. SunRiver hosts the Lawn Bowls event for the Huntsman Senior Games held in St. George every October.

Library

SunRiver has a lending library stocked with donated books.  No need to travel farther than the Community Center to find a great read! Staffed by volunteers who appreciate receiving books in good condition for the library shelves.

Multipurpose & Game Rooms

These rooms are great spaces to gather. Attend an educational seminar or join a club activity such as duplicate bridge or pinochle.  These rooms are used frequently.

Pickleball Courts

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in America. Think of Pickleball as playing ping pong on a badminton court, except you have a tennis net, larger paddles and a whiffle ball. Throw in a few quirky scoring rules and a "kitchen line" and you have the great game of Pickleball.  Loads of fun for all ages and skill levels.

The SunRiver St. George Pickleball Club is an active Club providing tournaments, socials, round robin play, and lessons.

SunRiver has 14 courts for all Residents to enjoy.

Pools - Indoor & Outdoor

If you love swimming, you'll want to experience both the Indoor and Outdoor Pools. Lap swim hours are available at both pools and Aqua classes are held Monday through Friday.  Check the Fitness Calendar to see classes you’d like to attend.  Times are also available for children’s activities at the pools.

The newly built and expanded Outdoor Pool opened Spring 2021.  It is 75 feet by 40 feet and has maximum capacity for 140 people and spa for 10 people.  If you like lazing around the pool during the summer months, you’ll find great food at the Poolside Café for lunch and dinner.  See the Poolside Café menu.

Pottery Studio

The Pottery Studio is a well-equipped facility to learn and experience the joy of creating art from clay. Residents are welcome to an informal tour of the Studio which is open Monday through Saturday 10 am – 3 pm.  Once you become a member, you’ll be assigned a mentor to help you feel comfortable working with clay, whether wheel throwing or hand-building.  The Studio is located in the Arts and Crafts building behind the Community Center.  Take the downhill driveway to the right of the SunRiver Golf Club/ restaurant building.

Reflections Community Center

The Reflections Community Center (RCC) is located at 2112 Horizon View Drive, St George, UT 84790  in an exclusive gated portion of SunRiver St George. The RCC has an outdoor pool and spa, gym, indoor kitchen, outdoor kitchenette, and a state-of-the-art media/entertainment room. The RCC is generally restricted to Reflections Residents but can be rented by non-Reflections SunRiver St George Residents.

Tennis Courts

The Tennis Club welcomes all players. The Club sponsors Drop-In, In-House League, Socials and Tournaments. There is also a ball machine free for member use once members have attended a mandatory instruction session.  Our three courts are heavily used.

Veterans Honor Park

Celebrate our Nation's heroes.

The Veterans Honor Park was a feature added to SunRiver in 2011.  The residents of SunRiver partnered with the American Legion to raise the funds needed to erect a monument to honor veterans, past and present. Each branch of the Military is represented by a monument and flag, along with bricks dedicated to individual veterans that will bring a tear to your eye.

To many SunRiver St. George Residents, the area with the bricks and flags is hallowed ground, a sacred tribute to those men and women who have so valiantly served our country.  As such, visitors should conduct themselves in a quiet and reverent manner when enjoying this portion of the Park.
